JROTC Activities

JROTC students participate in a myriad of activities to supplement the curriculum. Some, like map and compass skills, orienteering, physical fitness improvement and small group leader development, are part of the curriculum and are incorporated into the normal classroom activities. Others are voluntary team activities including military adventure skills and camping, military color guard teams, a Raider Challenge military skills team competition, and a physical fitness challenge. Other pending opportunities include air rifle marksmanship training, Leadership and Academic Bowl competitions, Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) Camp, and a summer Leadership Development Camp.
